The cost equation

When comparing the costs of different systems, people often overlook key factors. In one system, the price of an area station might be low, but the command station or cabling costs can be significantly higher. In another system, the opposite may be true. Some systems are cost-prohibitive if you only need one or two area stations, but become more competitive as the number of stations increases.

With the SIP-SNAP system, costs scale linearly with each additional station. A system with 32 area stations is roughly 32 times more expensive than a system with just one. While the cost of an area station with a display is slightly higher than that of a simple button station, this difference only becomes significant when dealing with a large number of stations.
